Description
The 9-hole "Rough River Dam" course at the Rough River Dam State Resort Park Golf Course facility in Falls of Rough, Kentucky features 1,389 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 27. Rough River Dam golf course opened in 1974.
This predominantly hilly course does have some flat fairways. The wide fairways are tree lined, and the large greens putt true. There are no sand bunkers or water hazards in play on the course. The signature hole is #4, a 158-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee that must carry a ditch before reaching the elevated green.
One of the finest par 3 courses in the Kentucky State Parks system, offering a golf shop, club rental, golf car rental, putting green, dining room, and lodging.
