Old Silo Golf Club

First off, Old Silo is as beautiful as they come in regards to layouts and vistas. Silo is tough and there is no denying that! if you want to test your true Golf acumen give Old Silo a try. Every hole is dotted with anywhere from 2 to 10 bunkers and this can make for a long day. On my trip, the course had experience several inches of rain so the bunkers where washed out and many had standing water but this is to be expected with this much rain. The fairways were perfect as always and the bent grass allows for a lot of spin into the greens. Speaking of greens, they were rolling fast and smooth as always. Man! Those 3 footers for par turn into 5 footers for bogey quick! Overall, Old Silo is a must for any Kentuckian to play. It is a tough track but as beautiful as it is tough!
