Golf Course Review: Duckers Lake Golf Course
Would not play again
1st not tee number one you can not see the green, you have no idea how far or even wear to hit the ball. Did not even finish number one hole. Drank another beer brushed it off.
Number 2 was the same way landed 100 yards out which way do you go left up hill I see a green or right I see a green cart path went left so why not. Hoping it gets better then there are kids playing on the green that live in the houses beside course so had to wait for them to move.
OK coming off number 9 and starting back I notice a several groups sitting in carts waiting for groups hackle them, fun no problem.
Number 10 had to wait on another kid chipping onto green another neighbor kid. No problem he saw me onto tee picked ball up and ran off green. Hit the green and saw pebbles in ball marks on green.? Notice a group on number 11 six guys but hey I have all evening they moved on figured they were part of scramble NO play your own ball and gets worse.
Finally they let me thru and tell me no one is in front of me, so I hit a great tee shot par 5 dead center blind shot up hill, should have drove up and looked hit second shot drive up and another group of six on green and they laugh great shot landed 5 feet in front of green as there putting. And it kept getting worse after 3 hours on back nine and played 5 holes I picked up and left. Talked to guy in Pro shop and his comment was they were staying there so oh well. Will not even waste my time calling Rick the owner.
It was nothing but a frat party bring your own coolers and do what ever you want and who cares about everyone else who paid to play, we are staying here. First time and last time. Rough and fairways were the same grass in your country yards and poorly cut, No markers anywhere for yardage 8" hard spots sometimes to be found in fairways. Greens OK.
Based on my experience: I would not play the course again.
